Welcome Baby Liam

Charlene (my younger sister) had her baby Lima Conner on Thursday July 26th at 3:30am.  There were some complications but from what I have heard he has a fighting chance.  He weighed in at a whopping 9lbs 9oz.  Liam is in the NICU due to a lack of oxygen while in the womb.  Charlene is recovering from and emergency c-section in Rexburg with baby Liam is in Idaho Falls.  All the family asks is for you to pray for a speedy and full recovery.  Thanks in advance for your thoughts and prayers.

Happy 4th of July! (Chicago trip part 2)

One the 4th we took it easy.  When dinner was over and it started to get dark we walked up the street to Rich East High School.  Go Rockets!!  We sat on the bleachers to watch the Fireworks!!  As we walked to Rich East the kids waved their flags and greated every car that passed with a Happy Indapendence Day! Lots of cars waved and honked.  But to our surprise one car full of young men stoped in the middle of the road and waved and cheered.  Good thing Grandma Geri's street isn't that busy.  Lance's Dad graduated from Rich East High along with his uncles and aunt. It was neet to show the kids where their Grandpa Terry went to school.  Firewaorks were great and we had a blast watching them.

Chicago Trip Part One

After months and months of preparation we packed the kids up and headed from Yuma to Chicago.  Doesn't sound to tough right...well that is what we thought.  We checked in and realized that none of our seats were together after we had reserved them together.  They then informed us that our flight was delayed an hour.  Then it was 2 hours.  We were suppose to fly from Yuma to Los Angles and then to Chicago.  But since our flight from Yuma to LA was delayed for so long they had to redirect us to Phoenix and then on to Chicago.  Once we got to Phoenix we waited for our flight to Chicago.  What we didn't know was that we (all 6 of us) were put on Stand By.  The airlines solicited people to give up their seats since the flight was over booked.  Carolyn got a little flustered (wouldn't you) since we needed 5 people to give up their seats so that we could even get on the plane.  Thanks to some generosity of strangers we all got on the flight and then people trade seats with us so we could all some what sit together.  When we got into Chicago we hopped a bus to pick up the rental.  We had reserved an SUV since a regular car wouldn't fit all of us and a Mini Van was a lot more expensive to rent.  Well that didn't go as planed either.  They had sold the SUV we had reserved!  So they tried to convince us to get 2 cars that was a resounding NO.  We finally agreed on a Mini Van and they gave it to us for the price of the SUV and threw in a GPS system and also gave us a $40.00 discount.  By 2am we were finally headed to Grandma Geri's.  Typing this is making me tiered.  We arrived there safely and extremely tired.  The next day we just took it easy.
Riding the Shuttle bus to the rental car (12am, why are they so wide awake)

After a good nights rest Bria was willing to be in the picture.

Thanks Aunt Dora For The Tea Set Craft

So my sister Dora bought Kaelyn a tea set that had paints with it so you could design it how you wanted.  The thing is Dora got it for her 2 Christams' ago.  We (meaning I) finally found some time to complete it.  Thanks Dora we had a blast painting together.

Crafting with Sarah

Sarah and I made these Flags out of old Pallets!  Mine in the smaller one.  We had such a blast painting and hanging out.  I will post a picture of it what it is on the wall.
