Easter

Last year when we found that we were having a girl(Jordan)my first thought was The girls can wear matching Easter Dresses! So this was Jordan's First Easter so I got her and Kaelyn matching Easter Dresses. I was so excited I looked and and looked for the perfect dresses. This took some time since the are not close in size. I finaly found a store here in town that had a 12 month and a 5T dress for tham. They had Pink, Purple or blue. My first thought was to buy them the purple (my favorite color) but the I got to thinking... my younger sister Mary is getting married at the end of April and her colors are different shades of blue. So I got the girls the blue ones and now then can use them again for the wedding. I am so excited two occassions one dress. We also got togather with some friends Sunday night after dinner for an easter egg hunt. Every family brought 24 candy filled eggs and the kids serched high and low for them. It was so much fun Cohen really got into it this year and Kaelyn hed fun as well. We have these really cute Easter bastets Lance's Grandma got the kids with their names on them. Thanks Grandma Geri!

Trip to Washington D.C.

The first week of April Lance and I left the kids with friends and went to Washington D.C. for 5 days. It was so much fun. I had never been there so I was a true tourist. We have some friends there so we visited with them saw the sights and relaxed. I so recommend to any mom with small kids or even kids in general to take a few day by yourself and recharge it has helped me so much.

So Big!

Lately Cohen has had some great sayings. The other day we were driving home from the grocery store and we decided to play a game we like to call "Who Loves _____" We fill in the blank with a family members name and those who love that person says ME! and raises their hand. We tweak it a little sometimes and say "How much do you love ____?" After we ask Cohen he says "So Big" Well on this particular occasion Cohen was a little upset with Kaelyn for what ever reason so when is was Kaelyn's turn we said: "Cohen how much do you love Kaelyn?" and Cohen replied with out mission a beat "a little bit" pressing his thumb and index finger together. I tried not to laugh. I explained to him even though Kaelyn may make us mad we still love her. He said "Oh sorry Kaelyn" 3 years old say the darndest things.

Riase Your Hand

I was reading the Easter story to Cohen and Kaelyn. They were listening so intently and Kaelyn decided she had a comment. She said "Mom when you want to talk or say something you need to raise your hand" She raised her had and I called on her. I don't remember what she said (does that make me a bad mom) but I answered her and went on with the story. I got a few more sentences in when Cohen raised his hand, I called on him and he plainly replied and I quote "I like to drink milk." I smiled and said I am so glad you like to drink milk. I love the randomness of my kids. No matter the mode or the setting they always seem to say or do something to make me laugh. I love all three of them so much.
