Girls night out

All checked in and ready for a night of fun.
The annual Fairy Party was held over the weekend so I signed Kaelyn and Jordan up. It was really fun to have a date with my girls. They had all kinds of crafts,  a jumpy and face painting to take part in. They provided each girl with dinner and a goody bag. This was the 3rd year we attended. We had a great time and Kaelyn and Jordan are talking about going next year.

Softball

Kaelyn is playing softball now.  She is loving every minuet of it.  Her team is called  Venom and she is one of the youngest on the team.  Her Coaches are great and very supportive.  She is catching on really well.  She throws really well is getting better at batting. Go Venom!

Cupcakes

Made these for a good friend of mine not too long ago and wanted to share them.

Let's Go Coyotes!

Lance I took Kaelyn and Cohen to a Coyotes hockey game. We left the little girls with Grandma K and headed to Phoenix. We took the kids out to lunch at Chipotle and then took them to see Journey 2. We had Pizza for dinner and then headed to the game. Our seats where really high up but we still could see everything. This was Kaelyn, Cohen and myself first Pro. Hockey game. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Cohen can sleep anywhere

How do you know?

While braiding Kaelyn's hair for school this morning she asked me a question that stopped me in my tracks.  She is a very smart girl and ask a lot of intelligent questions but this one questions made me tear up.  "Mom, how do you know the church is true?" Yeah I was caught off guard since she is only 7 years old and wanted to know how to gain a testimony.   She makes me so proud.  I informed her that I   read the scriptures and prayed to Heavenly Father.  I also told her that when she gets a warm feeling in her chest.  I asked her if she had ever sang a song in Primary where she felt a feeling of peace or she wanted to cry happy tears.  Yes she said.  I told her that feeling is from Heavenly Father telling her that what she was singing or reading or hearing was true.
I am so proud of her for wanting to know so soon how to gain a testimony.  Love you Kaelyn
