Softball

Kaelyn is playing softball now.  She is loving every minuet of it.  Her team is called  Venom and she is one of the youngest on the team.  Her Coaches are great and very supportive.  She is catching on really well.  She throws really well is getting better at batting. Go Venom!

Made these for a good friend of mine not too long ago and wanted to share them.

Let's Go Coyotes!

Lance I took Kaelyn and Cohen to a Coyotes hockey game. We left the little girls with Grandma K and headed to Phoenix. We took the kids out to lunch at Chipotle and then took them to see Journey 2. We had Pizza for dinner and then headed to the game. Our seats where really high up but we still could see everything. This was Kaelyn, Cohen and myself first Pro. Hockey game. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Cohen can sleep anywhere

How do you know?

While braiding Kaelyn's hair for school this morning she asked me a question that stopped me in my tracks.  She is a very smart girl and ask a lot of intelligent questions but this one questions made me tear up.  "Mom, how do you know the church is true?" Yeah I was caught off guard since she is only 7 years old and wanted to know how to gain a testimony.   She makes me so proud.  I informed her that I   read the scriptures and prayed to Heavenly Father.  I also told her that when she gets a warm feeling in her chest.  I asked her if she had ever sang a song in Primary where she felt a feeling of peace or she wanted to cry happy tears.  Yes she said.  I told her that feeling is from Heavenly Father telling her that what she was singing or reading or hearing was true.
I am so proud of her for wanting to know so soon how to gain a testimony.  Love you Kaelyn

Better late than never.

So I know Bria is almost 5 months old but friend that took these pictures moved a week later. So it took a while for me to get them and upload them. It was hard to just pick a few to put on here since they all turned out so good. Hope you enjoy.

A conversation with Jordan

Me: Jordan please finish your breakfast
Jordan: I eat it all I can have Ice cream?
Me:No you may not have Ice cream this early in the morning.
Jordan: Oh ok
10 minutes latter....
Jordan: Mom I finished my cereal... time for Ice cream!
Me: No Jordan you aren't having Ice cream
Jordan: I want something else to eat I still hungry.... how about something from in here... (opening the freezer)
Me:  Jordan get out of the freezer.
Jordan: But mommy I still hungry I need Ice cream.
Me: (getting a little frustrated) Jordan I already told you no  don't ask again.
Jordan (whining and fake crying): Mommy (running down the hall and shutting the door)
Giving her a few minuted to calm down I head down the hall to talk to her.
Me: Jordan, (looking in her room) where are you?
Jordan: I in your room
Me: please come out so we can talk.
Jordan: No
Me: why not
Jordan: cuz I not love you any more
A little Shocked I go into my room (trying not to laugh)
Me:Jordan did you say you don't love me any more?
Jordan: Yes cuz I want Ice cream and you say no.
I explained to her why she didn't need Ice cream and that it isn't nice to tell mommy that you don't love her.
Me: Jordan I will always love you no matter what.
Jordan:  Mom you want me to put woeshin (lotion) on you feet?
Me:  No thank you I need a shower 1st.
Jordan: But mommy I love you.
How come she is so sweet?

It's Offical

So  I hate to admit it but I wasn't sure I wanted this day to come.  But it has and I am starting to enjoy it.  What is this terrible thing I was dreading you ask?  Soccer!  That's right I am a "Soccer Mom".   I know it isn't that bad, so far...   Luckily Cohen and Kaelyn are on the same team "The Saints".  They are both enjoying it a lot.  They had their 1st game on the Saturday Jan 7th.  The Saints vs The Dust Devils
We Won!  Saints 3 Dust Devils 2.  We are so proud of our team.
